I am a psychotherapist and yoga teacher with a deep passion for healing, transformation, and the ongoing journey of understanding what it means to be human. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Acting, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy, and I am registered with PACFA.
My path into this work began in my twenties after a difficult breakup that left me asking a familiar but profound question: Why do I keep ending up in the same place? That question led me into my own therapy, where I began exploring the patterns shaping my relationships and the stories I carried. Years later, through couples therapy with my wife, I learned how to truly hold a relationship and how to rebuild and reimagine the kind of partnership I had always longed for.
Curiosity has since become my compass. For me, life is about understanding yourself, others, and the ways you move through the world. I bring that same spirit into my work. I approach therapy with a clear intention: to understand you deeply so I can reflect your inner world back to you and support you in seeing yourself more clearly.
Yoga has been a grounding thread in my life for more than 17 years, and I have been teaching for over a decade. Its discipline, philosophy, and embodied practices have shaped my capacity for presence, awareness, and compassion, both toward myself and toward the people I work with. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working as an actor.
That experience gave me a deep understanding of the human condition, including emotions, desire, and the many roles people take on in their search for connection and belonging. It also taught me that when you take the time to understand the deeper reasons behind your choices, your story begins to make sense.
In therapy, I am not interested in quick fixes that unravel after a few months. Instead, I focus on supporting you to live a life that feels aligned with your highest self and with the person you know you can be when you feel connected, grounded, and whole.
What matters most to me is the relationship we build together. I work to create a space where you can bring all of yourself into the room, including shame, confusion, laughter, and grief, and know that you will not be judged. I hold therapy as a home a container for truth, healing, and growth.
My work is informed by Gestalt therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. In practice, this means paying close attention to what is happening in the present moment, exploring the emotional patterns shaping your relationships, and gently working with the different parts of you.
This includes the parts that protect you, the parts that feel stuck, and the parts that long for change. Rather than treating you as a set of symptoms, I am interested in who you are your story, your strengths, your struggles, and what matters most to you. Together, we create space for new possibilities, including greater self-trust, deeper connection, and a way of living that feels more aligned and alive.
Alongside my therapy practice, my wife and I run yoga and self-connection retreats. These retreats are designed as spaces that feel like home. They are warm, grounded, and intentionally removed from the rush of everyday life. You are invited to pause, reconnect with yourself, and remember that you are not alone. Everyone who joins is welcomed as a fellow traveller on a shared path of learning, growth, and a return to kindness.
I recognise how much courage it can take to reach out for support. I offer therapy as a shared journey, walking alongside you with care, steadiness, and presence as you begin your own process of healing and transformation.
